It was wonderful to see you as well, and may I say that I was "astonished" at the quantum leaps that you have made as a hybridizer. In my eyesight, you are the rising star in Louisiana. Happy, happy new year!
BillBill Waldrophttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18012064602543142108noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-888299989065786666.post-88195426417092847022010-12-26T13:33:39.072-08:002010-12-26T13:33:39.072-08:00Hi Bill,

It was great seeing you at hybridizer's meeting a couple of weeks ago. Keep up the great work.

Josh JaquesJosh Jaqueshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08817999487575043880noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-888299989065786666.post-47918507977341052962010-12-25T14:25:55.338-08:002010-12-25T14:25:55.338-08:00RED TOP MOUNTAIN is a gorgeous daylily. As for Seedling 1-385, it is growing very well in the Greenhouse. I had only two fans and so I was reluctant to put it outside to face the harsh winter. Much to my amazement, it has grown like LYDIA'S REGAL ROBE. It has multiplied to seven (7) fans. 1-385 is one of my top three creations for 2010. It is amazing because it has taken the more narrow form of LYDIA, and made it more round. Also, the white teeth are clearly found and are a very good tool for development. I will definitely introduce 1-385, but I have to grow it for about two more years.

Paul I always look forward to your comments, and when there sometimes is no comment, I am a little sad. Hearing from you and others on the blog is helpful to keep me motivated, and to keep me posting garden thoughts. So, continue posting! Thanks very much.

I'm looking forward to the new year. I'm also looking forward to having my best garden, ever! So much is coming with the white teeth, and from the conversions that I have used.

Hope your Christmas was your best, and hope to see you again in the new year.

BillBill Waldrophttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18012064602543142108noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-888299989065786666.post-65780071044512906212010-12-25T14:16:22.470-08:002010-12-25T14:16:22.470-08:00Thanks Lee, I'm really pleased that you like M...Thanks Lee, I'm really pleased that you like MARIETTA HEARTBEAT. It should grow well for you in Chattanooga. RED TOP MOUNTAIN will do ok in Chattanooga, but it will perform better in the warmer climates. It should be a very good hybridizing tool. Isn't this snow nice, here on Christmas day? Had a question about a previous seedling. Seedling 1-385, Mort Morss X Lydia's Regal Robe. Will you be introducing it this year or in the near future? Merry Xmas to you, Diana, and the rest of the Waldrop family!Paul K.
