Lily Rae Whitfield is Born Today!

Hello Daylily Friends,

Diana and I had a call at 3:15 a.m., and it was Kelley Rae who said she felt "terrible."  That she and Jeff were getting dressed, and were going to the hospital.  Then, at about 5:45 a.m., Kelley Rae called again, and said that she had a fever.  That her Physician said that Lily Rae had to be born by C-section.  We then got dressed and hurried to the hospital.  Before we arrived Kelley Rae called again and said that Lily Rae had been born, and that she and Lily Rae were fine.  Such good, wonderful and great news!  We arrived at Kelley's room and I took a picture of Father Jeff, Kelley Rae, Lily Rae and Diana Rae.  Such a fantastic start to a great day in September.

    Congratulations on becoming grandparents. Before you know it, they will be 16 and 12 like mine.

    Thanks friends for your most welcome mails. Just a wonderful day. Kelley Rae and Lily Rae continue to do well, but they will not go home from the Hospital until tomorrow, that is, on Sunday.
